Lin-Wood's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Moultonborough Academy Panthers as they made off with an 8-2 win. The Lumberjacks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Lin-Wood has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Moultonborough Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lin-Wood and Moultonborough Academy will both be playing Lisbon the next time they take the field. The Lumberjacks will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
