 Meanwhile, Naches Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They had to suffer through a   78-40 loss at the hands of Royal. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings  (they are ranked 291st, while the Knights are ranked 12th).
 Naches Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Connell, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.
 Everything came up roses for Connell against Naches Valley when the teams last played  two weeks ago, as the  squad secured  a  71-40 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Connell since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
