Mendon barely beat Cassopolis the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Rangers on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won five games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Mendon is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cassopolis, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10-1.
