Highland Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Crisp Academy saw an underclassman step up: Reese Reed scored 16 points. That was a full 43.2% of Crisp Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Brooks Bragg, who scored two points along with seven assists.
The win was the third in a row for Highland Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 11-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.0 points per game. As for Crisp Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland Christian Academy will face off against Hamilton County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton County comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Crisp Academy will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th.
