7A District 4 recap September 4, 2013
Wekiva moved up to 201 from 348 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 7A District 4.
East River was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. The Falcons defeated Cypress Creek 49-6 earlier in the week.
CALEEM JOSEPH was the best receiver in the league this week as Lake Howell fell to Lake Mary. JOSEPH racked up 2 receptions for 50 yards. Purcell Farquharson helped Lake Howell's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 44 yards.
Keenan Adkins was a passing and rushing force as the Silver Hawks fell to the Rams.
Adkins was the most successful running back in 7A District 4 this week. He ran for 14 yards on 3 carries as Lake Howell lost to Lake Mary.
The leading receiver in the league this season is JOSEPH. The Lake Howell star has 2 catches for 50 yards.
Thomas Oliver's team fell to Scott Perry's team 57-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. JOSEPH was a bright spot for the Silver Hawks, as he in the loss.
