Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christel House to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Brigham Jr, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Jackson, who went 9 for 13 on his way to 20 points.
Purdue Broad Ripple's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Christel House, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Purdue Broad Ripple will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Indiana Math & Science Academy North at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Christel House, they and Northside L will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
