The Quilcene Rangers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 70-9 loss at the hands of Crosspoint. Quilcene has struggled against Crosspoint recently, as their match on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crosspoint to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Kuske, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Kuske continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Riya Tobosa, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
Quilcene dropped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Crosspoint, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.
Quilcene will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Sound Christian at 2:30 p.m. Sound Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Crosspoint, they will head out on the road to square off against Pope John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
