As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Elijah Flowers was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Green Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brock Barney. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. Barney also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Deymien Tunis, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-16 record this season. As for Green Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.
