Plymouth Whitemarsh waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Abington Galloping Ghosts. Madison Moran was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Plymouth Whitemarsh got a massive performance out of Gia Bono, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Bono also put up a home run, which was her first of the season. Anna Powel was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and two doubles.
Plymouth Whitemarsh's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games.
