It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Speedway Sparkplugs had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 56-28 win over the Raiders on the road. Speedway has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.
Speedway was led to victory by Daniella Galvez and Alex DeLisle. Galvez scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while DeLisle dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Galvez hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Chloe Ellett, who scored five points along with four steals.
Speedway has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
Speedway will square off against the Continentals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Indianapolis Washington is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
