Football Recap: Owasso Skates Past Yukon with Ease

Owasso had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Yukon Millers, posting a 45-7 win. Considering the Rams have won seven games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jayden Hall produced another solid effort rushing for 177 yards and two scores on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Julius Wilson also helped with two touchdowns in total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Owasso was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 196 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

Owasso pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.0 points over those games. As for Yukon, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Owasso will take on Jenks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Yukon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
