The Sesser-Valier Red Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 69-50 to Sparta.
Damian Lanton was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dariontez Monroe, who scored 10 points.
Sesser-Valier's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sparta, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sesser-Valier will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Johnston City at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. As for Sparta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valmeyer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
