After flying high against the Del Valle Cardinals last Friday, the Dripping Springs Tigers came back down to earth. Dripping Springs ended up on the wrong side of a rough 3-0 walloping at the hands of Anderson on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Dripping Springs has not been shut out since back in January.
Dripping Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2. As for Anderson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Austin the next time they take the pitch. Anderson will head out to face Austin at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while Dripping Springs will host them at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
