Pusch Ridge Christian Academy extended their road winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from MJ Buckner. The Lions really took it to the ALA - Ironwood Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-14 victory thanks in part to Buckner, who threw for 257 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 45 yards and one touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 54 yards.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, racking up 17 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Dominic Painter, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
