Robert Tripp Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Northwood's Robert Tripp, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tripp rushed for 126 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.4) per game.
Unfortunately for Graham, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Tripp. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Tripp saw the Red Devils), he picked up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Cummings Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Devin Witherspoon
Cummings picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Devin Witherspoon. Witherspoon's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 56 yards.
Cummings pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Witherspoon and Cummings will face off against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least 169 Rushing Yards from Brandon Powell
Brandon Powell's big game helped extend North Moore's winning streak to three on Friday. Powell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 169 rushing yards.
For the year, Powell has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 148.9 rushing yards per game.

Drew Easter and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Drew Easter was instrumental in extending Southeast Alamance's winning streak to seven on Friday. Easter was unstoppable, picking up 21 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Southeast Alamance pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Seaforth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cummings picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jaidyn Briskey. Briskey wasn't messing around, rushing for 51 yards and two touchdowns. The contest was his fourth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made two total tackles.
For the year, Briskey has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 rushing yards per game.
