The contest between them and Lakeway Christian Academy wasn't particularly close, with Providence Academy falling 85-71. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Providence Academy in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the loss, Providence Academy still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Peters-Daniels, who scored 31 points along with six assists and four steals. Peters-Daniels has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last seven times he's played. Nash Martinez was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Providence Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Providence Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lakeway Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Concord Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.
