Zanesville barely beat Licking Heights the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Hornets on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 on April 11th.
Maddox Mohler made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.
In other batting news, Zanesville got a big performance out of Solomon Norris, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Norris has posted since back in May of 2024.
