The Wichita HomeSchool Warriors will take on the Kansas City East Christian Academy Lions at TBD on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
After only 12 points in their last matchup, Wichita HomeSchool made sure to put some points up on the board against Cornerstone two weeks ago. Wichita HomeSchool simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cornerstone 36-6 at home.
Kansas City East Christian Academy fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They breezed by Cornerstone Family at home to the tune of 38-2. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 22-2.
Kansas City East Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremiah Nichols out in front who threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Grayson Pollock, who picked up 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Kansas City East Christian Academy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Salvatore Donnici.
Wichita HomeSchool's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-1. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Wichita HomeSchool against Kansas City East Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in September as the squad secured a 94-44 win.
