Even though the Frederic Vikings scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, the Webster Tigers still came out on top. Webster managed a 61-56 win over Frederic. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Webster also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Ian Mcfaggen was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 23 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Webster's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronald Hatch, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Webster and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Frederic, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Webster will be playing at home against Unity at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frederic, they will head out on the road to face off against Grantsburg at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
