Even though the King Philip Regional Warriors scored an imposing 65 points on Thursday, the Milford Scarlet Hawks still came out on top. Milford walked away with a 78-65 win over King Philip Regional. The win made it back-to-back wins for Milford.
Milford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Andrew Rivera led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Rivera hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for five straight games. CJ Farrell was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
Milford now has a winning record of 9-8. As for King Philip Regional, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
Milford will head out on the road to face off against Archbishop Williams at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for King Philip Regional, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Attleborough at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. King Philip Regional is facing North Attleborough at the right time seeing as North Attleborough is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
