Bethel Park scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Mt. Lebanon, 14-3. At the time, the Blue Devils were ranked 21st in the state, while the Black Hawks were 31st.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Peters Township, who defeated 69th ranked Peters Township, 33-15. BILL KISNER ran for 216 yards in the win.
Upper St. Clair's dynamic duo of Joe Repischak and Morgan Lee proved tough for Canon-McMillan to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Repischak threw for 197 yards and Lee had 80 yards receiving. Guisseppe Orsini helped Upper St. Clair's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 39 yards.
The Panthers' dynamic duo of Repischak and Lee proved to be unstoppable against the Big Macs, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
KISNER was a beast in the backfield as Penn Hills bested the Indians.
KISNER was the most successful running back in WPIAL AAAA Southeastern this week. Teammate ISAIAH JONES added to the ground attack by rushing for 213 yards.
Redge Nelson made the biggest impact on defense this week as Mt. Lebanon lost to Bethel Park. The 6-foot-1 senior.
KISNER was a passing and rushing force as the Indians defeated Peters Township.
Lee was the best wideout in the league this week as Upper St. Clair bested Canon-McMillan.
Repischak put up the best numbers in passing as Jim Render's team topped Ron Coder's team.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Panthers' Repischak and Lee have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Repischak has thrown for 224 yards this season, while Lee has 4 catches for 80 yards. Penn Hills' KISNER leads the league in rushing yards with 420.
An important game coming up in WPIAL AAAA Southeastern this week will be when Upper St. Clair takes on Rich Piccinini's team. The Panthers are in first place, while the Indians are in fourth place.
