Eastside Catholic extended the longest winning streak in 3A Metro - Mountain this week by beating Hale, 50-8. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Crusaders.
Bishop Blanchet took down Cleveland 69-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Eastside Catholic's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Trey Reynolds threw for 391 and four touchdowns and Johnny Michalik had 94 yards receiving. On the ground Brandon Wellington chipped in 91 yards. Justin Musser helped Eastside Catholic's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 88 yards.
Eastside Catholic's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Crusaders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Reynolds has thrown for 1206 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Michalik has 28 catches for 441 yards. Henry Jarvis leads the league in rushing with 645 yards.
The Braves led the league in scoring this week after putting up 69 points on the Eagles.
