Alexander has gone 9-1 against Pembroke recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Trojans will take on the Dragons at 5:00 p.m. Pembroke took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Alexander, who comes in off a win.
Alexander was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Attica on Tuesday. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Blue Devils. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won six in a row.

Emily Pietrzykowski was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ella Felski, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Ava Yax, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Pembroke suffered their closest loss since May 17, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Oakfield-Alabama by a score of 9-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost eight in a row.
Pembroke saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Hootman, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Reagan Schneider was another, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Alexander's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Pembroke, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Everything went Alexander's way against Pembroke when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Alexander made off with a 9-2 victory. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
