Wahpeton has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Lisbon Broncos at 7:30 p.m.
Last Friday, Wahpeton was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to Four Winds/Minnewaukan.
Meanwhile, Lisbon scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against LaMoure/Litchville-Marion and snuck past 56-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lisbon.
Emerson Schultz was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 17 points along with eight rebounds. The game was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kaia Sweet, who scored 12 points along with nine assists and five rebounds.
Wahpeton's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lisbon, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.
