The Argonia Red Raiders can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They took down Udall 63-47. That 63-47 margin sets a new team best for Argonia this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Argonia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Filippo Leonardi, who scored 16 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Leonardi has scored at least 25% of Argonia's points. Another player making a difference was Dalton Morrison, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jenson Harness, who scored 12 points. Harness scored a full 25.5% of Udall's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Hornecker, who scored 14 points.
Udall struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Argonia racked up 17 assists.
Argonia's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Udall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
