Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Arlington Admirals walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 42-21 margin over John Jay. The win was just business as usual for Arlington, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.
Michael Rescigno continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 216 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 177 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes. Rescigno's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
When it comes to explaining why John Jay lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Brady Feliciotto. Despite the final result, he rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 219 yards and a touchdown. Feliciotto is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.
Arlington's win was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 10-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30 points. As for John Jay, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Arlington will be playing in front of their home fans against Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on November 11th. Carmel will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. John Jay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
