Tattnall Square Academy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Piedmont Academy on Tuesday. Tattnall Square Academy let  Abigayle Baugh and  Reese Covington run wild. Baugh  fired off two  home runs while going 2-for-3, while  Covington  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  two  home runs gave  Baugh a new career-high.  Carsyn Atwater also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
 Tattnall Square Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Piedmont Academy only posted a  batting average of  .222.
Tattnall Square Academy's record is now 10-3. As for Piedmont Academy, their defeat was  their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-12.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tattnall Square Academy will face off against Stratford Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Piedmont Academy, they will take on First Presbyterian Day at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 7.4  runs per game this season.
