The Lassiter Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Roswell with a sharp 68-45 win. Given Lassiter's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Roswell is ranked 341st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lassiter had a senior duo take command as Aidyn Davis scored 14 points along with six rebounds and Jaden Emmanuelli scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kyhir Torrence, who scored eight points.
Lassiter has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Roswell, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Lassiter will head out on the road to challenge Blessed Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Roswell, they will be playing at home against Sprayberry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
