When it comes to explaining why St. Joseph Catholic lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keyshaun Coleman. Despite the final result, he picked up 142 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Coleman's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of King White, who threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns.
Jackson Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Powell out in front who picked up 117 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Matthew Mehrle, who threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns.
St. Joseph Catholic has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Jackson Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
