It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Randolph School ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions 9-8. With that win, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Martin, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Liam Tomalty, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

The victory was the third in a row for Randolph School, bringing their record for this year to 3-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randolph School will take on Decatur Heritage Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions face off against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Lindsay Lane Christian Academy's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while West Limestone has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
