Trenton Catholic Academy have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 42 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Pemberton 63-21 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-7.
Mayah Alford was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The game was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Sondjane Dourdin was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Trenton Catholic Academy pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pemberton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Trenton Catholic Academy will finish 2023 at home by hosting Camden at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pemberton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Delran at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
