Eric Valenzuela turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Saturday. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Bruce Randolph on Saturday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Valenzuela is becoming a predictor of Kennedy's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 4-1 (and 3-7 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Valenzuela and Kennedy will head out on the road to face off against Denver West at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
