The Nease Panthers posted their biggest win since December 28, 2023 on Friday. They put the hurt on Bolles with a sharp 56-35 win. That's another feather in the cap for Nease, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Nease got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryson Utter out in front who scored 16 points along with five assists. Utter is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Jack Sullivan was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Nease and bumps their season record up to 11-9. As for Bolles, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
Nease will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Providence School at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Providence School will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Bolles won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Westside at 7:00 p.m. on January 20th. Westside will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 538th, while Bolles is ranked 183rd).
