There's no place like home for Assumption, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Everything went their way against the Central Lafourche Trojans on Wednesday as they made off with a 12-1 win. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Assumption's win bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Central Lafourche, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Assumption will face off against Parkview Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Lafourche, they will challenge South Lafourche at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tarpons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.48 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
