The Burncoat Patriots suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against North, falling 87-40. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Burncoat has scored all season.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cheyton Marshall, who scored ten points. Jean Carlos Pimental was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Burncoat's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for North, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Burncoat will look to defend their home court on Friday against South at 6:30 p.m. South will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while Burncoat is ranked 36th). As for North, they will head out on the road to square off against Doherty Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
