After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carter-Riverside, Southwest was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 25-2 margin over the Dunbar Wildcats. That 23 run margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Southwest's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Dunbar, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Southwest wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 25-15 win against Diamond Hill-Jarvis on the 8th. As for Dunbar, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-0 defeat against Western Hills on the 8th.
