The Harvard Cardinals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 42-27 to Blue Hill. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Harvard in their matchups with Blue Hill: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Harvard still got an impressive performance from Cody Fishler, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Harvard bumped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.0 points per game. As for Blue Hill, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvard will take on Deshler at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Deshler is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Blue Hill, Blue Hill and Sandy Creek will face off at 7:45 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Sandy Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Friday.
