After a string of four wins, the Success Unlimited Academy MUSTANGS's's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 71-52 bruising from Valiant Cross Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Success Unlimited Academy has scored all season.
Success Unlimited Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Antony Fenn, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds. Fenn set a new season high mark in blocks with four. Another player making a difference was Timmorian Williams, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Success Unlimited Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Valiant Cross Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
Success Unlimited Academy will head out on the road to face off against Tuscaloosa Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tuscaloosa Christian will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Valiant Cross Academy will take on Springwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
