The Galesburg Christian Lions will square off against the Morning Star Academy Mustangs at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

 Morning Star Academy's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Violet Jewell, who  earned two points along with six  rebounds and two  steals, and  Abigail Smith, who  had seven points. Jewell is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last four games she's  played.
 Morning Star Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Galesburg Christian, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Galesburg Christian has been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 33.7  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Morning Star Academy struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 28.2. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
