Meanwhile, Earlville stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by Hiawatha on the road to the tune of 74-33. While fans of Earlville might be used to big wins, the 41-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Earlville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Trenton Fruit out in front who scored 20 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fruit has scored all season. Ryan Browder was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Midland now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Earlville, their win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-3.
