Skyline is 2-8 against Red Mountain since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday.  On the hitting side,  Dru Moore and  Hunter Daniels did most of the damage at the plate:  Moore  scored four  runs while going 3-for-3, while  Daniels  went 1-for-2 with three  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and one  triple. Those  four  runs gave  Moore a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ryan Vitale, who  scored three  runs and  stole four bases.
Meanwhile, Red Mountain fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against Kofa  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Kings by a score of  7-6.
 Red Mountain saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cade Olsen, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.  Keith Price was another,  going 2-for-3 with one  RBI.
 Red Mountain's loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-4. As for Skyline, their  win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 11-7.
 Skyline might still be hurting after the  9-1 defeat they got from Red Mountain  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024. Can the Coyotes avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
