Edwards-Knox scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. The match between them and the St. Lawrence Central Larries didn't end well, with the Edwards-Knox Cougars falling 82-67. The Cougars were probably out for revenge after losing 63-32 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ayden Beach was his usual excellent self, going 19 for 24 on his way to 39 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists for St. Lawrence Central. Beach's evening made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Damien Ashley was another key player, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten assists.

Edwards-Knox dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for St. Lawrence Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edwards-Knox will challenge Harrisville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harrisville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season. As for St. Lawrence Central, they will square off against Salmon River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Lawrence Central is facing Salmon River at the right time seeing as Salmon River is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
