Huron is 9-1 against Flat Rock since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Chiefs will square off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Huron comes in on 17 and Flat Rock on five.
Huron had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Milan on Monday. The Chiefs blew past the Big Reds 17-2. Considering the Chiefs have won eight matches by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Cash Muzzy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Noah Banas and Jakob Furkas did most of the damage at the plate: Banas went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base, while Furkas went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Furkas has posted over his last nine games. Jackson Surma was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Huron kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Milan only managed two hits.
Flat Rock came out on top against Jefferson on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Bears 6-4.
The team relied heavily on Mikey Giroux, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Logan Coplen also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Huron's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-0. As for Flat Rock, their record now sits at 11-4.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Huron has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .497. However, it's not like Flat Rock struggles in that department as they've averaged .434. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Huron was able to grind out a solid win over Flat Rock in their previous matchup on April 8th, winning 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chiefs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
