Windham proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 21) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Harding Skippers 71-68. The Bombers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Despite the loss, Harding saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Yomar Castellano went 12 of 26 on his way to 33 points and six rebounds. Castellano is becoming a predictor of Harding's success: when he posts at least 20 points the team is undefeated (and 2-3 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Beardslee, who posted four points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
