The Gulliver Prep Raiders won the last time they faced the Dade Christian Crusaders, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Gulliver Prep was the clear victor by a 53-31 margin over Dade Christian.
Despite the loss, Dade Christian still got an impressive performance from Kenvenson Malivert, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Malivert scored a full 58.1% of Dade Christian's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Clorvens Celine, who scored seven points.
Gulliver Prep now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Dade Christian, they bumped their record down to 6-5 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Gulliver Prep will stay at home for another game and welcome Mater Academy Charter at 5:00 p.m. on December 22nd. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Solomon Leinbock and Jackson Mansfield. Dade Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wekiva at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th.
