KIPP DC Legacy College Prep found their leader in underclassman Marlon Calhoun, who scored 29 points. The contest was Calhoun's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ma'Siah Holliday, who scored nine points.
KIPP DC Legacy College Prep pushed their record up to 4-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Digital Pioneers Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
