The Central Rebels entered their tilt with the Fredericktown Black Cats with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Central enjoyed a cozy 46-30 victory over Fredericktown on Friday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Central has scored all year.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jobe Bryant, who scored 16 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Bryant is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braydon Berry, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Central pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fredericktown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Ste. Genevieve the next time they take the court. Central will head out to face Ste. Genevieve at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Fredericktown will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
