Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask First Baptist Christian Academy). They never let the Halifax Academy Knights get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Crusaders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Charles Hahn was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of First Baptist Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).

In other batting news, RJ Lara was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carter Ascone, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

First Baptist Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

First Baptist Christian Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Halifax Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
