The Kenwood Bluebirds came tearing into Monday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 68-53 victory over Patapsco. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kenwood also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Kenwood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Mbuyi out in front who scored 17 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Andrew Otuyelu, who scored 18 points along with five steals.
Kenwood pushed their record up to 11-8 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Patapsco, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Kenwood will head out on the road to square off against the Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Patapsco, they will face off against the Vikings at TBD on Monday.
