The Shoshoni Wranglers on the road again on Saturday and play against the Burns Broncs at 4:00 p.m. on January 13th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Shoshoni suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2023 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 65-38 loss at the hands of Big Horn.
Meanwhile, Burns' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 12th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Bridgeport, falling 76-36. Burns has not had much luck with Bridgeport recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Shoshoni's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Burns, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
Shoshoni didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Burns in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 66-61 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Burns' Cody Hape, who scored 16 points. Now that he won't be playing on Saturday, will it be that much easier for Shoshoni to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
